ROVERETO 1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SOCIAL HEALTH EDUCATION AND TRAINING
The University of Trento, Italian capital of research in social health education 150 Italian and European scholars discussed research activities and projects; the event was designed to facilitate the process of academic internationalization. The first materials of the international conference held in Rovereto are available online on the Explorans website: here you can find videos of plenary sessions with institutional interventions and contents of the opening and conclusion, as well as the slides of the keynote speakers. NATIONAL RESEARCH: THE SOCIAL EDUCATOR AND HIS/HER COMPETENCES
The National Association of Social Educators ANEP is implementing a national research (mixed method) with the aim of improving the skills of the social educator and "photographing" the prevalent characteristics of professionals in Italy. Please, note: if you are a social educator interested in participating in the research, fill out the questionnaire (in Italian) that will be available until February 28th, 2015.

PUBLISHED THE BOOK ENTITLED  "DALL’OBIEZIONE DI COSCIENZA AL SERVIZIO CIVILE UNIVERSALE Quarant’anni di impegno giovanile e adulto"
The book explores the topic of "conscientious objection" and civil service alternatives to military service in Italy in the last 40 years. This social and political theme is developed through an historical overview and other different points of view, with particular attention to education (with contributions from: Riccardo Bonacina, Marco Dallari, Johnny Dotti, Dario Fortin, Giampiero Girardi, Emanuele Rossi, Livio Passalacqua, Pompeo Viganò). The official presentation will take place with the authors on Thursday, March 19th 2015 at 17:30 at Villa S.Ignazio in Via delle Laste 22 Trento (Italy).
